Welcome to the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. Students, here, are grounded in a strong analytic base to include theoretical and practical perspectives while emphasizing both abstract thinking and application. Students are encouraged to reason critically and logically while applying theories as appropriate to the subject and their levels of expertise. The Department consists of eight faculty, six of whom teach mathematics with the remaining two teaching computer science. We support between 50 and 60 majors in Mathematics or Computer Science. In addition, we support numerous other programs from the professional (Education, Business, etc.), the sciences (Chemistry, etc.) and the liberal arts (Humanities, etc.) disciplines. Our offices and classrooms are located on the third floor of the Science Building. From the links above/below, find more information about our dept.
