Patterns in Pascal's Triangle:  Do They Apply to
Similar Triangular Arrays?

by:  Nicole Forcum

Abstract:  Several classic properties of Pascal’s Triangle were verified for the triangular array of numbers.  Other similar triangular arrays were considered to see if the properties would still hold true.  The new arrays were generated by changing the initial condition in Pascal’s Triangle in which the initial values are all one.  The main focus of this research is those similar arrays in which the initial values of one were changed to the consecutive numbers and powers of two.
